Post-Conference Deep Dive Workshops — April 9, 2026
Stay in Waltham for a half-day of hands-on learning the morning after the conference. On Thursday, April 9, MassEnergize and Green Community Catalysts will host two optional Deep Dive Workshops at Bentley University, designed for community leaders who want practical tools to strengthen their impact.
Choose between a Funding Workshop focused on building a sustainable fundraising plan, or a Social Media & Outreach Workshop to sharpen your communications skills.
Space is limited and minimum enrollment is required for each workshop to run. Participants will be notified by March 1, 2026 to confirm whether workshops will proceed.
Deep Dive Workshop 1: The secret sauce to ramping up Community Engagement: Your first $10k

Strong community engagement requires sustainable funding. This hands-on workshop is designed for community and grassroots organizations — both new and established — that want to move beyond short-term projects and build lasting momentum.
If your organization struggles with reaching audiences beyond the “choir,” maintaining volunteer energy, securing stakeholder support, or sustaining long-term initiatives, this workshop is for you.
Together, we’ll explore why funding is essential, how much funding is realistically needed, the difference between restricted and unrestricted funding, and the range of funding sources available to community organizations. You’ll work through practical examples, use ready-to-go templates, and develop a custom Funding Playbook — a step-by-step plan to raise your first $10,000.
